Entry 1-
I am still well into my 36th season as a Wizard. I have learned much since my 36th season has been officially reached. First thing I have learned is to extend the Weave to their full potential for some spells. Of course, I've yet to put it into practice but as soon as I go back into the field I definitely will, especially for elemental shields and acid sheaths. It will be to my detriment if I don't.
Second, is that I will definitely not be using spells of the necromantic nature. It is most unnatural and not to mention unsanitary. Just today I met Ian and Starshine's god son, Varick. not more than 5 years in human age. He seemed sweet enough, and incredibly talented in the arcane arts. Unfortunately, Ian taught him to summon undead. It smelled horrible! And I have to spend another 2 hours cleaning my armor after it was killed a bit too close to my person. On a personal note, if I ever have a nightmare about zombies again, I will remember how bad its 'farts' smell and smell it in my sleep, this I am certain of.
I am anticipating hearing from DethPike or others in the Society about what our next move is in dealing with the fiends in Descration's Gates. Admittedly, I have been out of the loop and strive to change that. The...unfortunate outcome of the previous battles have driven me to work and study harder in the arcane and in my combat. Combat is not my strong suit, it seems.
Note to self: Seek out a master in melee combat, especially a master in the greatsword.
Note to self number two: Pick up more wands at Monroe's should NOT be using expensive parchment on mundane to-do lists.
One more thing though...should definitely use higher grade armor polish, the one that is blessed by a priest.
