| How about houses to plunder as a rogue? That is unless they are already out there and I have not really been looking. |

Apparently you have no clue how PvP works... once more, mages have a lot of power (The DC to dispell a potion is about 15.... that means a mage can easily dispell it) _________________ Well if I can't make everyone happy I should just worry about my own happiness.

| Alamore is right , most potions and wands are easily dispeled..however . All dispel checks are capped at 26th level which means any of the number of spells that confers Immuniy to mind affecting spells is going to stay up if you have 26 levels you are immune to the dispel . This isn't BSK and mordekainens disjunction isn't the god dispel , the only spell that I am sure it negates not in the Mord script is a clerics 'Spell Resistance' . But really though..What mage around here besides Halaster even has enough Charisma/Intelligence to have a good DC on a mind based spell ? Most top out their mage prereq at 19-20 and dump the rest in constitution |

Once more, you fail to see what I am pointing out, a spell you are forgetting is Bigby's Forceful Hand, as well as, the saves have been reduce to +1, so fighter no longer have will saves of 40, but 30, and even possibly lower, and as we all know, 50/50 chance against a caster, the odds are in the caster's favor, as well as, Mord is not AS powerful as BSK's, but is ALSO a better version of Greater Spell Breach, so thats why, even a level 20 mage can cast Mordekainens on a level 40 mage, and still remove the level 40 mage's buffs. There is no magical protection from mind immunity that will hold against any mage. _________________ Well if I can't make everyone happy I should just worry about my own happiness.

| Here's the point you are missing , this is taken directly out of NWNWiki . You will NOT strip any of these spells w/ your mage I don't care if he's lvl 60 and the cleric/druid casting them is 26th.
The 'Dispel effect' may indeed dispel a caster effect and it is 50/50 , If you ever come across the rare occassion that you meet a caster w/ more than 30 caster levels lol . Prior to version 1.66 the dispel was also capped at lvl 20 . For some reason the retards at bioware decide to effiminate a paladin by capping their dispel at 10 while unfettering a mages . The Breach , greater dispeling aspects of a Mord will not 'strip' ( no dispel check) a 26th lvl caster .
NotesThe following magical defense spells are not in the script and therefore are not breachable: barkskin, clarity, death ward, displacement, entropic shield, freedom of movement, haste, improved invisibility, invisibility, invisibility sphere, magic circle against alignment, mass haste, protection from alignment, and undeath's eternal foe.
Another mistake is saying the saves are 'capped' at +1 , they aren't capped you just can't forge them that high anymore which doesn't mean their isn't a truck load of +3 save gear floating around . While we are on the subject of saves lets talk about the ' saving Throw' a fighter has to make against a lvl 9 spell cast by a mage with a 32 ( gear of course) charisma/Int . The base DC would be 10(?) + cha bonus (11) + Spell lvl (9) for a total of 30 ( No way in hell Im believing any of you focus mind based spells) So the Fighter is going to have a base save of 12 + 9 ( +1 saves on all his gear) and another +6 for his wis bonus ( wis gear for spotting) for a toatal of 27 (?) So to beat the will save of the Mighty Arch mage the poor sword swinging fighter needs to roll..a 4 . dude that's hillarious . |
